Following the success of 5 biennial conferences and exhibitions since 2002, the Malaysian Rubber Glove Manufacturers Association (MARGMA) once again presents the 6th International Rubber Glove Conference and Exhibition (IRGCE) 2012, themed INNOVATION FOR SUSTAINALIBILITY.  The 6th IRGCE 2012 to be held over 3 days from 4-6 September 2012 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) serves as a landmark point of convergence for key players within the rubber glove and its related industries, as well as a common platform for the latest industry news and updates, innovations and developments, whilst fostering closer industrial rapport amongst them.  The exhibition will feature leading Malaysian and international manufacturers and suppliers showcasing a multitude of quality products and services to a host of professional trade visitors, providing opportunities for trade and networking.  The conference will provide a platform to review, analyze and present information on the latest trends and developments within the rubber glove and medical devices industries, encompassing areas such as regulations and standards, innovation, productivity and competitiveness.  Leading R&D personnel, standards and regulatory experts, industry analysts and market players will present relevant technical and professional papers on the dynamic glove and medical devices industries.  CONFERENCE PROGRAMME  The Conference Programme to be held concurrently with the exhibition at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre comprises working/technical papers presentation and industry seminars on the rubber gloves and medical devices industries.  The working/technical papers, among others seek to cover: -  Regulations updates  Papers on standards and specifications, quality control and surveillance regulations on protective gloves and medical devices imposed by importing countries. Leading personnel from international and national standards and regulatory organizations in the USA, Japan, China and Malaysia are expected to present their technical and professional input.  Innovation  Advancements in processing technologies, developments of new chemicals, new lattices, innovated medical devices, product innovation, novel applications of latex, green technology, nano science and technology and their applications. These developments and trends, in response to new advances and findings will further enhance the mass manufacturing and use of gloves and medical devices.  Sustainability  In the face of rising costs and global competition, industry players need to push the envelope towards greater productivity and competitiveness. Papers covering topics such as enhancement in competitiveness and productivity, branding, lean manufacturing, market intelligence, market trends and marketing promotions are expected to be tabled at the conference.  Invitation is now open for Oral or Poster Presentation of Conference Papers on the above subject categories.
